This is Love

by Jad   Oct 23, 2009

If only they knew,
What we feel now.
They'd know it's true.
Even as we wonder how.

How this has come,
From a simple relationship,
And now has become.
Our love for each other bit by bit.

This has got to be love,
For love never gives up.
It stands out far above,
Like a star with utmost luck.

That is how ours is,
Lasting, Enduring forever.
Every parting moment is missed,
But joined cherished forever and ever.

The doubting moments are gone.
The surety is there now.
We will be together as long,
As long as we can make a sound.

This was cute but I know you can do better. You have a simple say of writer and I feel like you are using that as your safety net. I'd really love to see you break out of yuor shell and write a free verse poem or something totally new. I want you to work on your diction as well. Your imagey would be so much better if you did and you'd be able to give your poems that depth they have been missing. I want yuo to write something that will blow me away. Keep writing hun. Nik

I like poems that come from the heart for that is where the true emotion is found in its purest raw feeling. and you did an awsome job of potraying that nice job
