I didn't say the things that you said to me...
Things that I can't get off my mind.
Your words keep playing in my head as though they're on repeat
Like a song playing over and over again.
That's how much your words have affected me.
Your words punch me in my sleep and keep me awake.
They want me to be hurt at every hour of the day.

Your words sting me, harder than a bee.
They suffocate me faster than burning flames.
I can't get away from those words,
They keep haunting me and eating up my soul,
Or whatever's left of it.
I feel empty and alone
Because of the hurtful words you've said...
