Play Pretend

by HidinVictim   Oct 27, 2009

Lets play pretend my dear
Holding each other so very tight
On twinkling star filled nights.
Come home dear boy,
To meals you like
Kisses on my cheeks
Cause I'm a good wife.
Our perfect life.

We'll have our dog
And picket fence, white.

Lets play pretend
Just for tonight
Pretend I'm the one
You hold so tight.
In this dear world
Of make believe
Your skin the color of sesame
Lets play pretend
And never fight
With honey kisses
That bring me to life.

Lets play pretend
And fantasize
About the things
So out of sight.

I really like this, It has a simplistic sound but at the same time it is saying a lot. Sometimes we wish we could just be lost in make believe. An excellent write!
