Its been over a year, yet today i still had a tear.
It lingered upon my cheek, trying to not let those memories leak.
Saw you for the first time last night,
couldn't believe the fright.
It thumped through my heart and up to my head,
these are the feelings i dread.
Hate this aching heart, this feeling that lingers.
You seemed to have slipped through my fingers.
Maybe i miss you, or maybe that's not true.
Maybe this is the feeling of regret, or anger.
Longing or hurt?
Can't decipher this sickness, just know that i'm not going to miss this.
Waiting for this to go away, these hurtful feelings of you, because it's sadly past due.
