I coulda sworn i was dreaming
about us last night.
i coulda sworn that i didn't make it up,
that it just happened.
don't leave me hanging here
believing this thing could be something,
but believing in us
doesn't work with just me.
trusting in something that could be so real,
not just something made up
and created in the clouds
of some mind that
makes things up as they go along,
twisting the truth.
i haven't felt anything more real
that what you have made me feel,
and if this were to happen
i could say i finally found
what people search for their whole lives.
but,
suddenly snap back to reality
and, excuse me.
that's just the stupid side
