How I Died

by LockedAway   Nov 2, 2009

When i was walking thought this book store
I saw all the books get off the shelf
They started to fly around me

Then i saw this book with a velvet cover
Gold words engraved into it's cover
When i reached out to get it
It was one of the softest things i had ever touched
When i opened it I realized what book it was
It was the book to my heart

When i opened it
It immediately closed as if i didn't have a heart
I read the cover and it said
I will never love again

I cried because i knew it was true
Then i dropped the book to the floor
I watched it fall through the air and onto the ground
When it hit the ground it shattered into a million
Red and broken pieces
Then i fell to the ground and cried

When i got up from the floor
With books still flying by
I fell into a dark blackness where i couldn't see
A far

So i keep falling
Falling to the doom of my heart
I look down and i see the broken pieces of my heart

Falling

They fell to the ground
But i kept going

I never stopped falling
I was just in a black haze
Until my heart was made whole again
But till then the pain just stays
It doesn't go anyway
It stays in the crevices of my
Broken Heart....!

This is a underated poem you might want to try spacing though unless there is a reason for one paragraph otherwise very nicely described.
