Frozen Moment

by Sourav   Nov 2, 2009

No matter where you are- how far you've gone
In the same way, you'll find a mournful dawn
A dying candle with its last desperate light
Can not hold long, light up your hopeless night

Meaning of some things- you'll never get
Orphan life- lingers like unloved guest
And you wander like a hopeless thought
Forgotten by those, who need you not

You escape- in frozen silence, you breathe
But memory from the past creeps in beneath
No matter what you do- how much you try
Suddenly a bitter feeling will make you cry.

I can't seem to pick a favourite verse or line
because from start to finish each line is
crafted so beautifully with heartfelt words..

    Sourav,

This is listed under life...but it is so sad...

I loved the wording, so poetic and somehow so resigned.

No matter what you do- how much you try
Suddenly a bitter feeling will make you cry.

    ^^

I know exactly what you mean by this, I too am hounted by horrors of my past.

A much beautiful poem, you should be proud of:)

    God bless,

    5/5 Ingrid
