I Vent

You can cry me a river
you can cry me a sea
you can cry all the pain
that lives deep within me
you can punch on walls
until your fist bleeds
you can stomp and yell
until people think your crazy
you can write these rhymes
you can recite these words
you can think of all the times
life made you hurt
you can wish for tomorrow
to be better than today
you can wish that all your sorrows
will soon sail away
to never come back again
so that you wont drown
you can ask yourself
what good is living if
you stay going down down
when you know the fact
of the matter is
the pain wont go away
you have to keep your head up
to live is to be strong
to be strong is to live

you can look for the cure
you can feel so incomplete
you can even ignore the
feelings you feel inside
deep within your soul
within your heart
you can even ask around
they wont know where to
start where to tell you
how to change how you feel
inside the fact of the matter
is they probably even cry
themselves a river
themselves a ocean
looking around for that
curing potion
you can throw things around
you can be mad at the ones
you love for no reason
when you know the reason
is because things don't
go your way
you can live for the moment
tomorrows not promised today
