Theatrical performance tonight,
Beautiful acting in the play,
The only brightness is starlight,
Carefully scripted words to say,

But deep down there is falling,
A breath held for the sake of it,
Yet, there is no return calling,
Nor will there be a forfeit,

Etched scenery is replaced,
Colorful lies are told,
Now together they are faced,
The story begins to unfold,

Tears are shed as love dies,
His motive is still unknown,
Her eyes swell as she cries,
Their tale has yet to be shown,

Now the game has ended,
Her battle won,
His heart defended,
One loaded gun...
