My Children

My Children

My children, my world, my life are the same ,
I knew how to love, the moment they came.
Into my world and smiled at me,
Oh what a feeling of love it can be.

Watching then grow through out the years,
Laughing and crying and sharing our tears.
Playing and fighting and helping each other,
Watching their faces, I am a proud mother.

Times of trial we've been through,
Good times and bad times and even new .
Hardship and loses have haunted our lives,
Hurting and cutting us up like sharp knives.

But for all of the bad, the good has out done,
For together we ignited a cold dying sun.
Lessons in life they still teach me,
And open my mind, and heart to see.

My children, my world, my life they are love,
My reason for living, my gift from above.
When you look to the sky and suddenly see,
A star shinning proudly, you know it is me!!!
