IF WE WERE NO LONGER BEST FRIENDS

by *~*CaNdIcE*~*   Jun 15, 2004

Friends are always meant to share
They tell you their deepest secrets
But we are no longer there

What if your friendship ends
Do you think you'd even care
If we were no longer best friends

Would you go your own way
Or would you get closer
With every passing day

I'm in search of the truth
In search of all the answers
In search of the real you

I wish I could have seen it all before
Cause to me this isn't fair
What else did you hide, is there more

My best friend is now unknown
What hurts the most
Is that I now know, feeling alone

Even though I wish I could
The past can't be changed
Have everything be how they should

There's so much I wish I said
But never got to say
It's all prisoned, in the back of my head

I want you to tell me how you feel
After all we were best friends
We have to keep it real

What if our friendship ends
Do you think you'd even care
If we were no longer best friends

Friendship mean everything to me. I've had 2 friends since we were in kindergarden, and I wouldnt know what to do if we ever had a fight and stopped talking, we depend so much on each others support.
    Nice poem, thanks for sharing
