They Are The Joy

by Meena Krish   Nov 6, 2009

When wrongs of the past
raid my silent mind,
they kiss away turmoils
and plant balmy smiles
for me to always find.

When yesterdays anger
storms onto my way,
their little arms spiral around me
quenching the firey gaze
which cripples my day.

Every droplet of saddness
that cascades my face,
my boys bring out the sunshine
reminding me...
they are the joy
that has bloomed in my place.

I enjoyed! You built on your point with each stanza. You kept it to the point...without being pointed! Very Nice!!

    Meena,

The love you have for your children pours out of every syllable of this dedication.

You wrote it well, I could not think of a finer way to honor those, who bring us, mothers, so much joy!

    God bless:)

Meena this was wonderful. We have some awesome mothers on this site.

Can you imagine the smiles these will bring when they are adults. Knowing how mom felt for them?
