Waiting For Your Love So Patiently

by Soulful Ensemble   Nov 7, 2009

I'll wait for you at a lonely hotel
Hoping dreams come from the wishing well.
And if I should be just an unguided stream
I hope you will hear my silly dreams.

I dream of you in dusk and moonlight
And in warm morning sunlight.
I wait patiently beneath the river
Where I drink to fill my liver.

Loving words from you make my day
And mean words darken the way
So that I'm lost and can't be found
And I'm too deaf to hear a sound.

Every morning I picture you smile
Looking into my eyes for a while
Like you once did, with deep emotion
And I wont ever forget the notion.

I still remember my caresses
That killed all of your stresses.
I recall the kisses and hugs
That I deeply gave you, my love.

Don't forget all the words I wrote you
Then and now about how I love you.
My heart beats with your name engraved
And I'm waiting patiently to be saved.
