Congrats on being one of the winners in the Title contest. I love what you did with your Title choice. What a very unique poem you penned.

They will strip off every inch of their character
For the sake of grabbing some publicity
With legs of greed they run for fame, forgetting
Nothing could be more beautiful than simplicity

In the days of all the new technology people do seem to forget the simpile pleasures in life.

Box of sin with colorful pictures
Won't give me the peace I lack
If this box could ask me once
I just want to paint it black

More people need to turn off the TV's and go back to doing other enjoyable things in life. Reading a book, going for a walk, spending time with their children and friends.

In the name of entertainment they dominate you
Posion you easily with addictive seeds
Capture your freedom with the help of remote
Making your love and life slowly bleed

So many of us get so absorbed in the tv. That we ignore those around us. This poem also holds sp much sadness.

    Excellent job!
    Love Cindy

Congratulations on moving to round two of the contest. You did very well with the title you selected. It sounds as if you have written about TV and/or the entertainment industry. Well done.

This was crazy....if you gave me a title called "Paint it black", there is no way in hell an idea like this would pop in my head. This was incredible. You took this contest and came out with a terrific piece.
By the way I totally agree with the arguement you posed in this poem. Its sickening, these reality stars or stars in general.
    Job well done
