Untitled

Silent tears are rolling down my face
The same face you so loved, now loathe.
Still, I smile and I try to hold on
to all the memories you left behind

The bruises you left me are still there
hurting me ever so sweetly
I'm holding on to them, hanging on
for i fear your dark memories
shall fade away along.

But darling, how could you?
After all that we've been through
How could you torture me so
softly, sweetly, completely?

And I always thought I knew you
but the bottle by the bed is telling the truth
you never loved me, never cared
i try to deny it so, but the bloody cuts
speak for themselves.

And so, my love, this is how it ends
My torn wrists are bidding you goodbye
I hope you're happy, happy in her arms
whilst i wallow in this pain, your pain

And yet, my dear, I forgive you
And yet, and yet, I love you.

This is beautiful but so sad. wonderfully written, I do believe that no matter how much somebody you love hurts you, you forgive them and love them still. Weldone, 5/5, Em
