There is this girl
Heart tattered and broken
All that was on her mind,
Was left unspoken

There is this girl
Listening to the fights
Trying not to cry,
With all her might.

There is this girl
Who watches her mum drink
Closing her eyes,
It hurts her to think.

There is this girl
Who counted her dad's steps
As he walked out the door
From all the regrets.

There is this girl
Who's best friend died
That's what you get,
When you go suicide.

There is this girl
Who just wants to understand
Why nobody out there
Will just give her their hand.

There is this girl
Who slowly pulled the trigger
Curled up in the corner
Her spines final shiver ...

    Wow...this is really a great write. The simplicity worked for the particular poem. It flowed well and ur rhyme scheme wasnt forced. Loved the ending, very sad write, but you did a great job. 5/5

    Wow, this is amazing. The only thing I could say about it is the last ine in the first stanza might go a little better if you just wrote 'were left unspoken' other than that, brilliant. 5/5, Em
