Dreams.

I dreamt of you last night,
Such a wonderful treat,
I felt you skin, you held me close
And you tasted so sweet.

You smiled at me, in the dream,
And I felt myself sink deeper,
You grabbed my hand and pulled me close
You caught me; hook, line, and sinker.

It felt so real, you seemed so close
But I woke up and was still alone.
How is it that after almost four years
You still have me so far gone?

I felt your body against my own,
I tasted you lips, your tongue.
Even though I'm still not the one in your arms
For me you've remained my only one.

I saw you, felt you, and had you as mine for once,
I finally got my steal.

Sadly, it was just a dream.
But it felt so real.
All I need is it to come true,
So my heart can heal.
