Run.

by Black Heart Still Beating   Nov 16, 2009

The leaves rustle,
for the wind seems to go,
on and on.
I feel the need to run.
There is something,
lurking,
at the edge of my,
vision.
There it is again.
Every time I look,
no matter how fast,
its just gone,
into thin air.
My feet touch the ground.
Faster
Faster
Faster still.
Heart beat grows,
Louder
Louder
Louder still.
I feel every breath,
as if I am breathing in
barb wire
I fall.
Deeper
Deeper
Deeper still.

DRAT
Still to slow,
too outrun my
Demands
