Languishing

by Beautiful Chaos   Nov 17, 2009

I wandered through the bitter cold
In search of your warm eyes
With memories of those gentle lips
That whispered to my thighs

Hands that stroked my tender heart
Arms that held my soul
Flesh that caved to every touch
Then begged to be made whole

I found you underneath the tree
Where love once came to bloom
Buried deep beneath the ground
No stone to mark your tomb

Just the tears of lonely me
Wishing it weren't true
Trapped inside the living world
Alone here, without you

What a sad piece you have penned Jenn.

I found you underneath the tree
Where love once came to bloom
    Buried deep beneath the ground
No stone to mark your tomb

What a picture you have painted with your words for the readers mind. How sad that the grave of your true love is not marked. How lonely it is to lose the one that is the other half of your heart.

Just the tears of lonely me
    Wishing it weren't true
    Trapped inside the living world
    Alone here, without you

What a hard place it is to be trapped alone without that person you live for. This really touched me deeply.
    Excellent!
