Seasons

by Ellis   Nov 17, 2009

Another day raining sunlight into the slipstream
Turning dreams beneath the seas
Crashing in foamy waves up to our knees
Of rhymes and dances so light in the breeze

Another folded autumn slowly uncovering us
Bristling seconds in our hair of leaves and dusk
Scented as candles with childhood laughter
And kisses by firelight, our warmed cheeks flush

Another year spun around the sun
As children with twirlers on the run
Carrying love and laughter, hope and charity
As my life with you, dancing for eternity
