Vulnerable

"This could break my heart or save me"

I ask for forgiveness
as I have;
slayed all promises
and buried my casket
on a mission to love you.

If I was to
smother spring in a;
clutter of petals
would you
rebuild your garden
in vulnerability?

You are much like autumn,
forever changing.
In my memory we
shall survive.

Like a butterflies
execution,
the left behind..
cry.

So tell me your hearts secret.
Sometimes it's not so easy
to hide.

I ask for forgiveness,
for I have;
only loved you to the
stars and beyond,
yet you beg to differ
what's past the light.

Someone once told me,
you either love someone
or let them go.

Please forgive me
but I have never been
as wounded as I am
at this moment.
Incapable will we be
to give it
time.

and I love you.

So here I stand,
distinguished by hope,
holding on to
what I believe you wont.
