Bluebird

by Lynn Anderson   Nov 19, 2009

I am a bluebird singing,
To the morning horizon light.
Like when the Sunday bells are ringing.
I will ring in the day, until the night.

Peaceful harmonies for sunshine.
My songs blow within the wind.
Letting mother earth know to take her time.
When having the day begin.

So blue, the sky.
Like the feathers on my wings.
Even though the moons still high.
This bluebird continues to sing.

Nicely done, a very inspirational poem. I like your style, maybe you have some suggestions for other poems of yours I should read?
