More than Prose

by Melissa   Nov 19, 2009

Scribbling.

Making a point to waste my ink
on a man who mutters words inside words
that need not shadowing,
but still, he's more than prose.

I think.

My hands are where
they should never scribe,
pressing an inkling with all the force
of some poetic gravity
that has no real point,
just sharp secrets and
blotted stars
no longer blinking
for their beholder.

How dark.

This was a brilliant display of your poetic talent taken to the heart, it was stunning to read and struck a sense of thought into my mind. Captivating, a bit mysterious and of course, deep in word and meaning. Well done and congratulations on the win, very deserved!

    God bless you!
