What Do You Do When You Want To Die?

by The Lady of Shalott   Nov 19, 2009

I've never felt so alone,
so deeply darkly dead.
But my body lives on,
falling short of my heart and head.

It's just too damn hard,
to pursue this thing called life.
When mine is wrought with pain,
wrought with anger...wrought with strife.

I long to raise the barrel,
and point it to my heart,
and blow all these damned emotions,
so very far a part.

I took your words for truth,
I believed in every lie.
So tell me now, what do I do,
now that I want to die?
