Ask Me

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Nov 20, 2009

Ask me to dance with you,
Ask me to look in your eyes.
How i wish this moment would stay forever,
How i wish you were my prize.

Ask me to challenge the whole world,
And that with you i should run.
For finally we'll be together,
Instead of two we will be one.

Ask me to lie down on the grass,
While you gaze at my unbelieving face.
Shocked that i am with you right now,
In this beautiful quiet place.

The birds chirping, and the sky is blue,
Even nature will rejoice.
Happy that you have finally chosen,
And that i was your choice.

Ask me to love again as if i was never hurt by love,
Ask me to love as if it never caused me pain.
I'll sing out loud with joy if you do,
And I'll dance like a lunatic under the rain.

So ask me to challenge the whole world,
And that with you i should run.
For finally we'll be together,
Instead of two we will be one.

All the things a true love should ask of us and things that we should be able to fulfill. Well done.
