Silent Nostalgia

by Lynne   Nov 20, 2009

Disappearances happen in science.
Diseases can fade away.
Tumors go missing.
They open someone up to discover the cancer is gone. Its unexplained, its rare, but it happens.
They call it misdiagnosis.
Say they never saw it in the first place.
They give you any explanation,
But the truth.

The truth is, life is full of vanishing acts.
If something that we didn't know we had disappears,
Do we miss it?
