I want to make a world
where men won't cheat
with best friends you thought
would stand by you as you weep.

I want to make a world
where the heart doesn't exist
wherein love won't linger long enough
to leave you hurt and all alone

I want to make a world
where no emotions would dwell
wherein this rage and disgust
would die out with my distrust

I want to make a world
where I won't be hurt
where emptiness and fulfillment
will never be our argument

I want to make a world
far more bearable than this
so that I won't break into tears
as I start slitting my wrists
