Desire.

by Of Sweet Insanity   Nov 24, 2009

Of all the things I've ever said to you
Every word was your own fire blazing clue.
Splattered across the floor in a ruby mess
Ripped my own heart right out of my chest.

Lose vs Lost in this kind of situation.
This friendship spoiled by my dedication.
Too fxcking long to turn a cold shoulder,
but much too dangerous to let our past smolder.

I stare in the mirror at the damn heartless face
Eyes of blank ice determinine our only fates.
Destiny sets in and the reasons are long gone.
Reminding myself that what I'm doing is wrong.

I'm leaving you, I swear it's the last goodbye.
I can't find the words to explain so I'll try..
There comes a point where all the good things expire.
and as for me.... Well...

I've found my desire.
