Racing horse

by Cara   Nov 25, 2009

Since I replaced the 'I' in live with an 'O'
loneliness is my new found friend
music seems so empty
the rhymes, they dont fit,
I'm losing my way but I'm finding your lips.

Your oblivious eyes, I wish you were mine
all I want is to wake up and find
you next to me, sleeping peace;
the perfect picture of beauty true
If I could only be something to you.

Dead to the world but thriving in my dreams,
In the world where you stroke my hand
ever so slightly
telling me you feel the same, helping me to ease
the pain.

Now that I'm lody in your eyes
I've spun a web of lies
and now its me I despise.
For the fact I'll never be yours
my hearts a racing horse.
