Why did you leave

You said you would always be right there,
For me yet you left,
The loneliness fills my heart,
my soul,

Wondering what I did to deserve,
The heartache and pain,
Of losing you the way I did,

Yet I don’t believe you are gone,
Each day seems like a dream to me,
My heart and mind are filled with emptiness,

Why? What did I do for you to go away,
Punishing my self everyday,
Praying you will come back,
Even if its just for a day!
