A November Garden

by Corinne   Nov 25, 2009

Some colorful leaves still cling to trees
Though many more have gone bare

Cardinals are no longer crimson
The Robin Redbreast does not thrill
And the bloom has gone off this rose

They will all return to resplendency
When spring arrives again

But I shall not

Still, there is something to be said
For a finite life

this is so beautifully penned... I read and re-read it... just loved these words... it makes me feel sad that we may not see spring year after year... sad for the finite life... but also feel glad that spring returns year after year...

    lovely write :)
