    Corinne,

A resigned and contemplative write by you. Although it is short, it is packed with deeper meaning and much truth.

Simone de Beauvoir once wrote a book called "tous les hommes sont mortels", which means as much as "All me are mortal" and it is the story of an Italian king, called Fosca, who discovers the horrors of being immortal, after drinking an immortality- elixer.

We are meant to be here temporary...it is part of the beauty of being human.

Still, there is something to be said
    For a finite life

    ^^

Lovely, meaningful words from you, girl:)

    God bless,

    5/5 Ingrid

Although this was short it did have quite an impact. You took my eyes away from everything else and put me in your words. There was nothing ordinary of this piece, it was quite different and poetically calm. Beautiful work, great job!

//They will all return to resplendency
    When spring arrives again
    But I shall not//

this is so beautifully penned... I read and re-read it... just loved these words... it makes me feel sad that we may not see spring year after year... sad for the finite life... but also feel glad that spring returns year after year...

    lovely write :)
