Under the midnight sky,
The two misplaced souls meet again,
The Angel & the Mortal,
With both sins unforgiven.
The moon was perfect & glimmered as so,
And below was a tiny lake,
The vague ripples of water,
Reflected the two forgotten souls.
The boy clutched his fists and turned his back,
Said he's just human, unworthy for her love,
But, the Angel strongly disagreed,
Said that he's the main reason why she didn't give up.
The Angel then cried,
But, this time not because of misery,
It was her final tears to be shed,
With her weak arms cuddling the boy tightly,
It was then he sincerely vowed,
As he touched the Angel's face,
It is to forever love her,
And to protect her always.
The Angel & the Human,
A love 'til eternity,
The love created from their innocent pain,
Will be held endlessly in their Heaven lit sanctuary.
