Sadness is the tears in your eyes
The way it felt to say goodbye
Sadness is when your heart wants to stop
But knowing you'll go on without a second thought
Sadness is when the pain is too great
But the day wears on; meaningless hate
Sadness is when the clock ticks by
And your sitting there counting the hours, the days
Untill you will just fade away
Sadness is the sharp sting inside
When you look into others eyes
Sadness is looking out and being trapped withen
Pounding on the doors, so sick of sin
Sadness is my heart pounding fast
Each painful teardrop
Knowing it wont be the last
