Fall Apart

by BurriedFaceDown   Nov 28, 2009

Go outside,
Breathe the air,
Smell the flowers,
Fall apart in despair,

Look to the right,
You see a future,
Full of chaos,
Though many adventures,

Look to the left,
See a different possibility,
Many a lover,
Though decisions lacking sensibility,

Spin in a circle,
Fall apart in a stranger's arms,
'You are a beautiful disaster',
The stranger charms,

Just smirk at him,
'Stranger you have no clue',
Saying as you stroll away,
Wondering, why pursue?

Walk to the edge of the cliff,
What a pretty drop it is,
If you jump you'll have freedom,
Quick freedom, yes you're no wiz,

As you jump,
You breathe the air,
Smell the flowers,
While falling apart in despair,

A wonderful poem though some very sad words you have woven together. I liked where you went with this, I enjoyed reading what you had to say.

God bless you and Merry Christmas!

Wow, amazing poem!! I really liked this it flows fast which works for me, and it's got a twist as it starts with no hope then the stranger seems like hope then the ending is back to no hope , I liked that. and very cleverly done with the opening and ending stanzas the same. one of my favourite styles of poems and I loved it. thanks xxx
