Seeds of Love Are Set Ablaze

by Poet on the Piano   Nov 29, 2009

Make a wish upon
Candlelight Avenue
Melt into its fountain
Of springtime petals.

Elegantly sit upon
Rain washed chairs
Relish in light pastries
Too delicate to consume.

Dance gaily upon
Moonwater pools
Dip your playful toes
In notes of ecstasy.

Raise daughters upon
Handmade clay pots
Sprinkled with earth
So true to His word.

Color streams upon
The wayward winds
Strengthen their roots
Liven their ambitions.

Sing psalms upon
Blossoming skies
Strum your guitar
Let it rouse voices.

Knock once upon
The Master's door
Where you will be
Brought into Heaven.

One of the best I've read from you. Vocabulary doesn't seem forced but natural and flows absolutely beautifully. You should be very proud of this piece, uplifting and well done.

This place is really there, I already know because I have been there long ago when I drowned..If only all people would know this for a fact too..it would take away so much fear and uncertainty:)

Lovely words, such a strong person hides behind these lines;)

    God bless,

    5/5 Ingrid
