If you don't really know her.

by BrokenAngel FallenFiend   Nov 30, 2009

If you don't really know her,
That painted smile seems real.
If you don't really know her,
You have no clue how she feels.

If you don't really know her,
You can't read between the lines.
If you don't really know her,
You'll dismiss her silent whines.

If you don't really know her,
You have never seen her tears.
If you don't really know her,
You have no idea what she fears.

Do you want to get to know her?
Is she even worth all that work?
Do you want to get to know her?
Can you see her heart in all that murk?

I want to get to know her.
Learn her story line by line.
I want to get to know her.
I want to call her mine.
