I liked this poem a lot. especially the paradoxical dichotomy between a clown's apparent jovial manner and the nature of the man behind the mask. It sounded like you wrote this poem about yourself. Maybe it's just me though. regardless, I really liked the extended metaphor and figurative language. 5/5 keep it up |
I like the style and can really relate to the theme of this poem |
Aww. . . I really like this poem i had a friend of mine in mind the whole time i love how you revealed the man behind the mask great job! |
W.O.W very good, I loved how you put such a twist on this, I think that no one honestly thinks of how the one in that situation would feel. Also I think that there could be a double meaing to this poem. Fist you have the literal side of it and then you have the side where one reads between the lines, it reminds me of someone an average person who jokes and makes eveone else laugh but who is there for him when he is down, angry or upset? It shows that people can and will hide there true emotions. |

Nice rhyme scheme , but the flow is off in a few places .. But no big deal , it's easily fixable . Very insightful , nicely done . 5/5 |
Oh, wow. What an incredible piece. This is a masterpiece, I never thought of clowns as being lonely. I always figured they were always happy. |
This is great. and true. to make everybody else happy, they sometimes think your already happy. they dont realize that you need someone there for you too just like your are for them.. incredible. |
