A Wooden Reflection

by Indian Comma Bean   Nov 30, 2009

Lucid explanations spin a web of doubt
Within the confines on my reason,
Absent trails of your footsteps
Point to shattered prints of treason.
Loyal eyes I have entrusted,
Faithless twins they leave me stranded,
Sewing seeds of misery through my mind,
For no life of mine could be so candid.
Sin bereaves me like words from your lips,
Tainting my thoughts, seizing my wits,
Before me stands thee, a heart's eclipse,
A veiled stranger, my photo's phantom.
