Unforgotten Memory

by Tylor Dent   Dec 1, 2009

I don't know why I dream of you.
I don't know why I care.
I don't know why I think about,
all the moments that we shared.

Sometimes I look at our old pictures,
and wonder, where did we go wrong.
Sometimes I hear your laughter.
When theres not a sound to hear at all.

I wonder if you think of me.
When your lying awake at night.
I wonder if you amagine its me.
When she's holding you so tight.

I think of why you gave up,
but ill probably never know.
I think of how we got so far,
and then why you just let go.

You know I gave you everything.
There's not a moment I wasn't there.
I went through hell and back for you.
But it turned out you didn't care.

Even when everyone abandoned you.
I still stuck by your side.
But when I had a broken heart.
You left me with tears in my eyes.

Now my heart's complete again.
and someones got the key,
Now your just my lonely past,
& an unforgotten memory.

That's really good, I can relate to it because I've just been let down by someone I lobed and done everything for and when I hurt they just hurt me more so I can relate to this and think you have described the feelings well. only suggestion is 3rd stanza 3rd line says amagine instead of imagine. xxx
