Making This Love

"Making This Love"

Moments of loving
woven into this beautiful collage.
Your image shimmering before me,
like a mirage.

The glimpse of your eyes
searing into me.
The whisper of your breath
inhaling my plea.

The feel of your mouth against my neck,
sending shivers down my spine.
The taste of your kiss
like the headiest wine.

Love felt
beyond this embrace.
The touch of your hand
cupping my face.

Tears for the beauty
of something this rare
glisten in my eyes
for this love we share.

Trembling with awe.
Moonlight shining upon our skin.
Cherishing this moment
of what lies within.

A culmination
of a love that transcends.
Summits crested,
while time suspends.

    I love your descriptions!
    'The taste of your kiss
    like the headiest wine.'
Just through this simple sentence is enough for me to feel the kiss, jsut by envisaging the wine.
And I exceptionally loves this line:
    A culmination
    of a love that transcends.

    Keep writing! and 5/5! (:

Hey mami :) You already know you one of my favorites, so I dont have to go into detail why this was an amazing write. But the flow and rhyme were perfect in this poem. Also:

"The feel of your mouth against my neck,
    sending shivers down my spine.
    The taste of your kiss
    like the headiest wine."
^^the imagery in this stanza was on point. your usage of adjectives stood out most to me.

Overall, great poem. You know I have to give you a 5/5 for this one boo =]
