Final Departure

by Hopeless Romantic   Dec 6, 2009

We've argued and we've had fights.
We've also loved and shared our hearts.
Hours spent on the phone, day and night.
Hurting, because we're so far apart.

We've laughed and also cried.
We've yelled and said we're sorry.
Talking all night, until our phones have died.
Sharing moments of fear, and worry.

Through it all one thing is for sure.
My love for you remains strong.
It will never falter or be impure.
Anyone who doubts it, will be dead wrong.

I know we've had some bad times.
I also know we've shared some great.
Even though we've tried and tried,
I still feel our love is fate.

No matter what happens from here
I know I can promise one thing.
From now on and year after year
I will love you no matter what life brings.

My love for yo uremains strong.
That needs to be fixed .. This hit really close to home , because I've felt the exact same way and I think you portrayed it well ; although some rhymes felt kind of forced. The rhythm is okay , and I still think it deserves a 5/5
