Live A Lie

by Lady Nik   Dec 9, 2009

The things I've seen are enough
to make me yank these eyes
from head and socket
and cover them with thick
layers of blindness. Just enough
to make the whispers
I write down scream out loud.

But I'd never tell a soul

Who would listen?

I can hear the words
of those that still despise me
playing a little ditty in
the cracks of my
brain. HA! I broke
the mold, beat the system
I'm the psycho and you
can't contain me.

Does it make you puke?
It should.

I win, always will, always have.
I'm full of it,
whatever it may be.
Not sure actually.
I just know I'm overflowing
with toxic waste
paste a label on my forehead
for the world to see
"Warning" is all it should say.
Get too close and you'll see why.

SNAP!!!!!!

I'm sorry if I'm speaking too loud
I want to make sure
everyone hears me. Not just
you but the people you
can't see or don't
want to admit are real.

I can see them...hear them too.

(My observation is complete, she's lost it)

No..No I haven't. I put
it in a bottle and let it fall
over the side of the earth.
If you can catch it
you'd find a little piece of me.
I'm just as normal as the
rest. This is the lie I will
always live.

(Take her back to isolation please nurse)

"I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me..."

*Contest where I used the song "Live A Lie" by Default, I also had to use a line from the song. The line I used was "words
of those that still despise me." *

This was full of anger, hatred and venom or so it read to me. It was as if the words hit me in the face as I read them. Well done.

Stanza one was kind of disturbing but shows the frustration you undergo because of all youve been through. Although a little weird it really brought forth what you feel clearly and how irritating it is for you.

Interesting write... sounded more like a vent but a powerful one at that. The tone was wonderful and I felt like I could hear these voices talking. Well done.
