Christmas From The Heart

Have I mentioned recently
How much I love you
I`ll shout a thousand times
For the message to come through.

My favourite time of the year
Although it`s still unlike the past
Previous Christmases were perfect
Time went by too fast.

We`ll go to midnight mass
Fall asleep to the high-pitched singing
Wake me when Santa is near
And the Christmas bells are ringing.

Christmas dinner is never dull
Each year a different game to play
Photographs to capture the memories
PAUSE, I want this moment to stay.

Presents will be opened together
Laughter will fill the air
Around the large table I sit
With people I love and care.

Enjoy the festive season
Although it has already begun
So, have a Merry Christmas gran
