Winter (Pleiades)

I wanted to read something a little older from you and I've had a thing for shorter poems lately, especially ones that reference nature so when I stumbled across this and noticed I hadn't commented yet I knew I had to!

For me Pleiades are a little difficult to write, only in the sense that beginning the start of every line with the same letter can be difficult. For me 'W' would have been but I liked your word choice. I'd have never thought to use the word 'wrizzles' I don't think I've ever really seen it in a poem, only drizzles so it intrigued me. The third line I had a bit of love for, I like reference to dreamers and sleep and so when entwined with the topic of winter it had such a relaxed feeling.

Silver dawn was another nice little image, for you winter is snow and for me winter is just coldness. We get snow on the mountains but you can't see it from where I am. This poem set the scene. I loved the feeling it gave me and seeing as its winter here now it was a nice to read.

What a beautiful description of winter, and an original one at that. I have never been a master of this form but you did very well. The last line was wonderful, made me think of when I was outside yesterday & the snow was sparkling so beautifully. :] Nicely done, great vivid imagery.
