Hanging

by BloodyBrokenAngel   Dec 13, 2009

Her wrists were covered in scars
Her mind was full of hate
Everything was killing her
She felt like such a fake

Faking smiles, faking laughs
Slowly dying inside
No one could look deep in her
She had too many things to hide

There's a reason for the long sleeves
There's a reason for the gauze
No one bothered looking deeper
They couldn't see her deeper flaws

They never saw the blood marks
Or wondered why she liked being alone
They didn't really know her
So no one would've known

They couldn't know how she felt
Or the thoughts deep in her head
Didn't know she was depressed
And truly wished to be dead

But that night she showed everyone
Exactly how she was feeling
They got to see her cut up body
And her hanging from the ceiling

This is really sad. it breaks my heart to know that people do these things and that they go through so much pain and suffering. this brought out all of those feelings. great job writing this. it clearly makes the reader understand the pain and suffering that is going on. :)
