To Touch Again

by Soulful Ensemble   Dec 14, 2009

If I could touch that cheek
That brightens up the night
I'd not feel so meek
And know you're still in sight.

I miss your small hands;
Their caress that warms.
I walk a lonely land
Without you-- forlorn.

I'd do anything to just
Feel your face against mine.
I wonder if you care-- you must!
When our eyes meet it seems fine.

If I come to see you
Would you even wait?
Maybe I'm a fool
But not a fool to hate.
And maybe for us its just too late.
