He's mine in my dreams

It's been a long hard day and and I can't wait to rest
Kick off the heels, wash my face, and slip out of this dress
It's just me alone again in this big cozy bed
My favorite part of the night is when the pillow meets my head

And now I'm dreaming, there he is, my handsome prince
Hand in hand with me on a beach, our feet making footprints
The light reflects from his eyes, it's so beautiful to me
His clothes and hair are blowing from the oceans strong breeze

He holds me so tight like he never wants to let go
I don't fight it, I let him, oh how he loves me so
We kiss, the waves crash, hitting large rocks
He takes me to a private place under the docks

We're wrapped in this sea of love, I don't want to awake
His love means the world to me and is one I don't want to forsake
He's mine it my dreams, that's all that matters for now
I'll stick to dreaming and try one day to make it real somehow
