The Voices (Part 2)

by RainbowSlider   Dec 18, 2009

I tried to hear the voices.
But now they just ignore.
They said I had choices.
They didn't say any more.

Once they had a lot to say.
They intrigue me with their wit.
They would talk night and day.
I couldn't wait to listen to it.

They are quiet now and gone.
They were my company then.
I couldn't be rude to the throng.
But then I met this new friend.

A new chatter I hear when I pray.
It could be me just thinking aloud.
They would maybe like her to stay?
They wouldn't think it a new crowd?

I talked to them till I was hoarse.
It was a new avenue to explore.
They said I had choices.
They didn't say any more.
