I wasn't really expecting the ending to be so uplifting but glad it was. The poem just kept spiraling in sadness as I read, the ending tied it all together. Freedom, what a great thing to have.

This was a beautifully written and well expressed poem, it was also quite emotional and ended with a lovely possitive note.

I just happened to be browsing and decided to give this a look Lu, very nice work. You had a great rhythm going, your flow was wonderful. I also like the feeling behind it, that no matter what is going on, what someone is or might do to us, one day we will find freedom. Great work, glad I stopped to read it.
